In the app, open Settings › Notifications. Right away sends each drop on its own, as soon as it’s found. Once a day sends one notification listing everything, at 7 pm, or at 2 pm if you prefer. Weekly only sends nothing during the week, just your weekly recap.

Make sure notifications are enabled for MusicDrops in Settings › Notifications on your device, and that Background App Refresh is on in Settings › General › Background App Refresh.

If you chose Weekly only, you’ll hear from MusicDrops once a week, with your recap.

Low Power Mode pauses the background checks MusicDrops uses to find new drops. Turn it off, or open the app, and MusicDrops checks again.

Tap the search icon, type the artist name, and tap the follow button next to their name. The app searches the Apple Music catalogue.

Each month, and after a busy week, a recap of what landed appears in your timeline: how many drops, from which artists, and your pick. You can share it as a square or story image.

Yes. MusicDrops uses the Apple Music API to find artists and releases, but you don’t need an Apple Music subscription. You can open releases in the iTunes Store to purchase them.

Yes. MusicDrops finds releases in Apple’s music catalogue, which carries nearly everything that comes out on streaming services. You get the notification and play the record wherever you like. Drops open in Apple Music or the iTunes Store, and you add artists by searching for them.

The free tier lets you follow up to 10 artists. Upgrade to a subscription or the Lifetime purchase for unlimited follows.

Yes. Every plan, monthly, yearly and Lifetime, includes Family Sharing.

Yes. On the yearly plan, the app offers Lifetime at a reduced price. After you switch, cancel the yearly subscription in your Apple ID settings, or it keeps renewing.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device to manage or cancel.

Your data lives on your device and, if iCloud sync is on, in your own private iCloud container. Delete the app to remove the on-device copy; you can also clear the iCloud copy from your iCloud settings. Nothing is ever stored on our servers.

Der Stromsparmodus pausiert die Suche im Hintergrund, mit der MusicDrops neue Drops findet. Schalte ihn aus oder öffne die App, dann sucht MusicDrops wieder.

Tippe auf das Suchsymbol, gib den Künstlernamen ein und tippe auf den Folgen-Button neben dem Namen. Die App durchsucht den Apple Music Katalog.

Jeden Monat, und nach einer vollen Woche, erscheint in deiner Timeline ein Rückblick auf alles, was erschienen ist: wie viele Drops, von welchen Künstlern, und dein Favorit. Teile ihn als quadratisches Bild oder als Story.

Deine Daten liegen auf deinem Gerät und, wenn die iCloud-Synchronisierung aktiv ist, in deinem privaten iCloud-Container. Lösche die App, um die Kopie auf dem Gerät zu entfernen; die iCloud-Kopie kannst du zusätzlich in deinen iCloud-Einstellungen löschen. Auf unseren Servern wird nichts gespeichert.
